Quirky Bird Theatre are excited to announce their schools tour are expanding for 2021, giving schools more choice at a time when theatre visits will be unavailable to large groups.

Touring since 2017 our production of DNA by Dennis Kelly is incredibly popular and receives a fantastic response from students and teachers. This is a fast and fluid production which pays attention to the detail of this well-crafted text. The performance is followed by a 45 minute Q&A with cast and director. For full details, production images and our COVID 19 policy, visit our DNA 2021 page or use the contact button.

Added this year we are introducing Jim Cartwrights classic text 'Two' as a fantastic option for Key Stage 4 & 5 Live Performance Review. Performed as part of our collaboration with long term artistic partners Schoolhouse Productions, this will feature Anna Friend in all female roles alongside Adam David Elms. These two have starred in many productions together, receiving 5* reviews for their partnership in both Abigail's Party by Mike Leigh in 2018 and The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson in 2019. Finally, we are bringing 'Teechers' by John Godber to schools in 2021, a brilliant option for Key Stage 3. Fun, fast and more than a little cheeky, this is a great text to promote drama in the lower school and with the post performance Q&A, it's a wonderful opportunity to inspire young actors to get involved and stay involved with the Arts.
